last night was date night to celebrate my birthday. sadie hung at home with her new favorite audi. audi brought tea and apron sets and they played all night long. she didn't even miss us.
brett and i tried out nobu in tribeca. the rock shrimp tempura and black cod live up to their legend. brett even tried and quite liked ceviche. i'm successfully getting him to branch out! sadly, we didn't bring the camera and the lighting was just too dim for the iphone. you'll just have to take my word that we went, we ate, and we enjoyed. we carried home some mini caramel pecan and peanut butter cup cheesecakes from buttercup to enjoy after dinner settled.
