Sometimes we call her Chatty Kathy!

Sadie already has an obsession with phones. Most children do, but Sadie's fixation on them seems a bit more excessive than other kids her age. She owns 3 toy cell phones and when she can get her hands on my iPhone or Brett's blackberry, it's game over for us. She entertains herself for hours on end. She talks on her phones for a minimum of an hour each day and always finds time to fit in some real phone conversations with daddy, grandma, Ti and Uncles. She can't leave home without at least one of her cell phones (and her purse). Today as we were headed out to run errands, we were in the elevator. As per usual, Sadie was talking to someone, it must have been one of her friends, given the topic of conversation. The words I could make out were, "and a boy, and a boy, and a boy, and a boy..." Oh boy, if those are her pretend conversations at 20, almost 21, months, I can only imagine what I'll be dealing with in the teenage years.

While we're on the subject, a shout out to my little brother and sister and my mom who appease Sadie by talking (or rather, listening) to her for 15-30 minutes at a time and staying engaged the entire time.
